Sgt. Donnie Carrol is the Narcotics Detection Canine handler for the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. Sgt. Carroll joined the Sheriff's Office in 2008. His K-9 partner, Astro, was purchased with grant funding at no cost to the citizens of Wayne County and was trained as a Patrol K-9 in 2008
