Administrative Assistant BJ Eaton
A native of Wayne County, Mrs. B. J. Eaton is the Sheriff's Administrative Assistant and reports directly to Sheriff Wilson. Mrs. Eaton is responsible for grant administration, finances, and clerical administrative support.
Mrs. Eaton pays bills for the Sheriff's Office; makes bank and Treasurer's Office deposits, orders supplies, sorts and delivers mail, records minutes at meetings and is the primary person responsible for the maintenance and security of all personnel files for employees of the Sheriff's Office.
Mrs. Eaton compiles and prepares all necessary monthly payroll reports and documentation to be presented to the County Auditor's Office by the Sheriff's Office.
Mrs. Eaton is responsible for performing clerical, administrative and other duties as assigned by the Sheriff to ensure the effective operations of the Sheriff's Office. Mrs. Eaton is Terminal Agency Coordinator "TAC" and Reporting Agency Coordinator.
Mrs. Eaton is a graduate of the Wayne County High School and earned her Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Sciences at Martin Methodist College.
